  • Ever wondered if there was a better way to teach science, than just sitting in a room, listening to boring old theories? Well, Prof.Jolyon Caplin (senior lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic and famous street science busker) sheds light onto a new & engaging way of teaching, such that students (and YOU!) would want to study it! Recorded at TEDxYouth@OFS - September 24th 2018 Jolyon is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic. He is also the chairman of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (Singapore Network). With a big funny bone, and his busking skills, Mr Caplin uses a comedic approach with easy analogies to teach science, and give us confidence to plunge into our own experimentation This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
