Just dive in that language: speak to people, read their books, watch their movies. Go all in.

As someone fluent in, aside from my native English, 7 languages, I can only say that being multilingual is fantastic. Even being bilingual is an amazing thing. I can't recommend it enough to anyone considering picking up a second, or otherwise more, language.

I guess youtube decided that after 7 years, it's time for us to learn a new language.

Well... it is always tricky to give the idea that everyone would learn at the same pace and reach the same goal in 6 months. I have been teaching for more than 20 years and I have seen so many different situations... that I am always careful when people ask me how long it will take them to be fluent in French. But there is one important fact that people should never forget and it is that we can ALL learn a foreign language, and it will take the time that it will take. Especially when we are talking about French language :)

I'm learning Spanish. I took a year in high school but didn't really learn a lot. I work construction and there are quite a bit of hispanic guys on the job site. They teach me Spanish and I teach them English.

As a man finally starting to truly see the light at the end of the tunnel after 4 years of scary depression, this excites the heck out of me as I am so ready to find the diamond within. I've been learning guitar and to draw, both being so healing. Finally learning to speak a second language would take things to a whole new level for me. This is truly one of the most eye-opening presentations. World here I come.

I'm Korean and I'm going to learn Spanish! I've already learn it for 3months. I don't know if I go back at the beginning and count the 6 months, or I'll count 3months from now. 🤔 of course, what's more important thing is starting study now. 😄 Let's achieve our goals together everyone who wants to learn new languages! I'll be back here after 6months. 파이팅!

I worked in a chinese clinic for 2 years, and although I didn't speak mandarin I could understand loose words and get the context by expressions and body language.
