  • Black Sea Maritime Archaeological Project, an archaeological survey expedition has discovered the world's oldest intact shipwreck. It was discovered about 80km from the Bulgarian city of Burgas. It is a merchant ship, dating back around 2,400 years which was almost perfectly preserved off at the coast of Bulgaria. Researchers believe that it's the oldest known intact shipwreck. The reason behind the good condition of the shipwreck is lack of oxygen in Black Sea.
