Audra McDonald cannot be a real person. She's too perfect.

Is no one going to talk about how Glenn Close and Patti Lupone appeared on the same stage?

Audra is simply one of the best performers in the world. Also if Make Our Garden Grow doesn't make you cry, I don't understand your brain.

I loved watching Meryl Streep who was obviously touched by the whole thing. The great ones don´t get jealous.

This is the best of the Kennedy Center Honors tributes to a Broadway performer that I've seen so far. And you could see the level of talent that turned out to honor the peerless Barbara Cook - God, Laura Osnes, Rebecca Luker, Kelli O'Hara, Glenn Close, Sutton Foster, Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, all performing sincerely and at the top of their form on the same stage. No wonder the (always appreciative and peerless) Meryl Streep was crying. It was better than the tribute to her haha.

Looks like Meryl Streep was enjoying it more than Barbara Cook herself... ;-)

Barbara Cook is possibly the greatest soprano and one of the greatest performers of all time. I saw her in concert twice and both times it was pure magic. I loved seeing some great performers lined up for this tribute, esp. with Broadway's current reigning soprano Audra McDonald and rising star Laura Osnes.
